Job Profile
Prep, sandblast, paint, and assemble all specialized equipment using DFI’s state of the art paint booth.
Job Duties
- Cleaning, masking and preparing surfaces to be painted
- Airless, Air, Roller, Pressure Pot, and Brush paint application
- Touch up after final assembly
- Cleaning paint equipment and workspace
- Maintain inventory and prepare for projects
- Plan workflow and coordinate with fabrication group
- Sandblasting, labour, shop clean up as required
Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of two and three part paints
- Must have experience with auto-body painting
- Must be comfortable wearing appropriate masks and respirators
- Automotive painting and bodywork experience is an asset
- Previous industrial painting experience
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate production needs
- Proficient verbal and written English
