Job Profile
Our Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentices are responsible for assisting Journeymen in the repair and maintenance of various types of equipment within DFI’s fleet.
Job Duties
- Assist in servicing all equipment within DFI’s fleet including: skid steers, generators, picker trucks, and track mounted cranes
- Hose crimping and tube bending
- Drilling, tapping threads, and mounting components
- Work with journeymen to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
- Shop maintenance and clean up
Qualifications
- Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician
- Previous experience with hydraulic systems an asset
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate production needs
